With hearts full of gratitude and joy, the Village of Peace Dimona recently gathered to celebrate a momentous occasion: the 50th anniversary of New World Passover. On the 29th and 30th of May, our community honoured the profound journey that brought us to our homeland in 1969 and the establishment of our vibrant life here. This year's celebration was particularly special, marking 50 plus years since our very first New World Passover in 1974, a testament to our enduring faith and progress.
A Tapestry of Community Life
As is our cherished annual custom, families gathered in the spacious park across from our village, creating a vibrant tapestry of community life. Under the warmth of the sun and a gentle breeze, we relaxed in open-air tents, shared nourishing plant-based meals, engaged in lively games, and simply savored one another's company. These moments of collective joy and relaxation are central to strengthening the bonds that unite us.

We felt immense joy in the renewed health and social cohesion that defines our life in Dimona. The perfect weather, with abundant sunshine and just enough breeze to cool the desert air, seemed to echo the blessings we continually experience.
