Through everything that is happening in our region, we are pressing on. The terrific challenges we are facing are not new, but they can never become familiar.

These events impact every aspect of life in our region, and of course even here in the Village of Peace. They can challenge even the most steadfast of beliefs, especially if one must endure them alone. Thankfully, we do not have to. We have each other. Our culture, beliefs, the principles of "Mastering the Art of Living" show their value even more obviously in times like these.

We have had inquiries, and we are deeply thankful for them. Your affirmations, prayers — those things remind us of the beauty and necessity of care, concern and love, of the power of connectedness that is so vital in a living world.

On March 21, 2026, Iranian ballistic missiles struck the city of Dimona, Israel — the city that has been home to the African Hebrew Israelite community for 50+ years.

Daily life has been affected in ways that resonate with every household. Our families took refuge in those shelters, and our children heard those sirens.

Naomi Shmuel is a key figure in our community, responsible for building relationships with "Life Seekers" on our email list and handling inquiries through our website. She is also an essential part of our administration team, contributing her skills in writing. When not engaged in community tasks, Naomi can be found enjoying family time, being out in nature, weaving, or teaching English.

Aturah e. Sar Khazriel

Aturah e. Sar Khazriel serves as a Content Strategist, Creator, and Administrator at the Village of Peace, while also holding the title of Assistant Headmaster & Dean at the School of the Prophets Institute in Jerusalem. A resident of the Village of Peace, Aturah is an advocate for a holistic lifestyle rooted in truth, health, happiness, and longevity. With her extensive travel experiences and contributions to the National Redemptive Scholarship Body, she continues to make a global impact.

Deputy Minister Ahmahlyah e. Nasik Elyahshuv

Serving in the Village of Peace as the Deputy Minister and Public Relations leader, Ahmahlyah e. Nasik Elyahshuv leads our global outreach initiatives. Her mission is to encourage both virtual and in-person visitations, allowing others to witness and experience our community's commitment to mastering the art of living.

Man of Valor, Bakiel Ben Shomriel

Bakiel Ben Shomriel, a Man of Valor in the Village of Peace community, is a seasoned Web and Creative Designer. His expertise spans from crafting visually stunning websites to creating engaging motion graphics. A multi-talented individual, Bakiel is also an author of a community recipe book. His work is a testament to his passion, creativity, and commitment to enriching lives.

Deputy Minister Yahgdeer

Deputy Minister Yahgdeer, a nearly 40-year member of our Village of Peace community, is a seasoned professional in media production, journalism, and public affairs. He also has more than 35 years of experience as a nutritionist and Professional Coach. As a devoted husband and father, he fulfills his role as the Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Information in the Community with commitment and dedication.

Yahav Ben Sar Ahmadiel

Yahav assists with social media content management and strategic planning. He is a graphics designer, researcher, historian and curator of the Community's African Edenic Heritage Museum in South Africa. Professionally, he is a Health Consultant/Coach who is very passionate about healing, not only through holistic lifestyle medicine, but also through music, art and writing.
